Encouraging neurodiversity at UBC since 2012
Run as an AMS club and as part of the AMS Resource Groups, Neurodiverse Pathfinders is the go-to home for neurodiverse students and neurotypical allies seeking a sense of community and belonging. What do we mean by neurodiverse? In short, neurodiversity is the position that many neurological conditions should not be treated as disabilities but rather as standard human variation, as worthy of celebration as any other aspect of human diversity.
Founded in 2012 but first constituted as a club in 2017, Neurodiverse Pathfinders has a specific focus on neurodevelopmental disorders, including but not exclusively Autism Spectrum Disorders. |
Club ActivitiesPathfinders OfficeNeurodiverse Pathfinders maintains an office in NEST 2107 (inside the Resource Groups, NEST 2102) accessible to all members as a place to study, hang out, work, or take a bit of a breather from the world in case of sensory overload or even just a bit of stress.
Office Hours (Staffed by an Executive) Temporarily suspended pending determination of a schedule. Please contact our email or Facebook if you wish to meet with an executive and/or become a member.
